This film documents a conversation between two male friends. They were seated on chairs opposite one another with cameras set up directly in front of each of them. The whole conversation was recorded, of both subjects speaking, listening and reacting. However the film itself presents everything but the conversation, everything but the speech and the subjects speaking. The viewer is thus presented with two people reacting to an unheard conversation, the surplus of the conversation.
