Being Silent Isn't Strong (2010)

Four TV's are suspended at a variety of heights by chains from the ceiling. On these TV's, a DVD video loop of the artist's head is playing. A mirror is placed directly underneath one of the TV's, reflecting the ceiling, the TV's, the viewer and the surrounding space.

These objects together make a form of maze, which dictates the way that the viewer moves through the space, pushing them out in awkward ways. It has a very strong material presence, but their value is not in what they represent, it is about spatial displacement.
